TORTOISE SHELL
I love when birthday parties turn into impromptu photoshoots with tiny turtles. Meet Bajo! He is a prince. I've always had an affinity toward tortoise shell anything and this is the real deal.

CURRENTLY
2 Days In Paris
"Here it is. One more, one less. Another wasted love story. I really love this one. When I think that its over, that I’ll never see him again like this… well yes, I’ll bump into him, we’ll meet our new boyfriend and girlfriend, act as if we had never been together, then we’ll slowly think of each other less and less until we forget each other completely. Almost. Always the same for me. Break up, break down. Drunk up, fool around. Meet one guy, then another, fuck around. Forget the one and only. Then after a few months of total emptiness start again to look for true love, desperately look everywhere and after two years of loneliness meet a new love and swear it is the one, until that one is gone as well. There’s a moment in life where you can’t recover any more from another break-up. And even if this person bugs you sixty percent of the time, well you still can’t live without him. And even if he wakes you up every day by sneezing right in your face, well you love his sneezes more than anyone else’s kisses."

BOOTIE TIME PART II
Okay, okay, enough with the booties already! Who am I kidding? I love 'em! These technically aren't all booties but I love them just the same! TopShop Unique line, hellooooooo! Where was I when these were readily available? Oh, in America, that's where. Bummer! I swear I will get my hands on at least one pair. Dear Santa, the blue ones? I love them so much, I even made a janky collage! Awwww.
BOOTIE TIME
Even though I just ordered my dream shoes, I am not done dreaming of other shoes. Please, shoe gods, grant me my wishes.

UPDATE!
I haven't updated in so long! Been busy with work and feeling a little uninspired. Not that more than three people read this, but, anyway...I did just get back from L.A.! This was a much needed solo trip to visit friends, do some shopping and take care of some BUSINESS business. I ended up having an amazing time of course, buying three coats, two pairs or shoes and spending a bit too much money, but all worth it in the end! Some photos from my trip:
My lovely friends, Nico, Nicole & Jack.
View from the kitchen.
Also! just ordered these shoes for Christmas last night! THANKS GRANDMA! Better late than never :) I am oozing with excitement about these babies.
Now onto my new project - THE GREATEST MIX EVER MADE. Stay tuned. For real this time, no more lazy.

OUT WITH THE OLD, IN WITH THE OLDER
I've had some of my perfume forever. I rarely wear the old ones, partially because I'm just sick of looking at their crusty, tired, old bottles. To my surprise, I found an incredible vintage perfume bottle at the thrift store this week! Amazing! I soaked the vintage bottle in hot water and Bronner's soap for about a half an hour, just to make sure the old perfume smell wouldn't linger. After that, I simply poured the contents of my long had perfume into the new bottle and just like that, good as new and even better!

GOOD MORNING, VEGETARIANS.
I made these delectable sammies for breakfast this morning and it was like biting into an orgasm. I sauteed soyrizo with a tiny bit of olive oil. I like my egg yokes real oozey, especially when they are crushed between two sprouted grain English muffins and a bunch of veggies. I added a little spinach, tomato, bell pepper and fresh monterey jack cheese and voila! So delicious, so oozey.

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS!
When it comes to celebrating, Mexico has it down pat. Case in point: Dia De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead). This is quickly becoming my favorite holiday. Dia De Los Muertos is an annual celebration of the dead, also referred to as All Souls Day. On this day, people come together and walk in the All Souls Procession, an incredible movement of elaborately dressed people in skeletal face paint/masks. Last night did not cease to amaze. Th end of the procession turned into a grand finale with aerialists toting balls of flame and bug-like humans on stilts waving smoke in the air to the sound of bagpipes.
I love this day, simply because it gives me an excuse to adorn myself with as much lace as I want, wear a flowered veil and dance down the street to sound of drums with all of my friends.
Here are the best photos captured throughout the evening:

FRESH START
I have started a new blog and ditched my old one! Liberez-vous was becoming a bit of a disordered mess. I started it without any real direction other than a creative outlet through which to speak my mind. I've decided to now use it as a vehicle of sorts - a vehicle which will allow me to write about my passions and keep me on the path of my career. This time around, I'll offer more fashion specific entries, my own photography, DIY projects, "food porn," and showcase artists of all sorts. I hope this proves to be more bountiful and intriguing for all. Blogging with a purpose. Get into it.
